After the caricatures are made with marker and pen on large poster size paper, they are held high for all to see.

And in the midst of all the roaring with loud clapping, rollicking laughter and just good natured fun, the music and interactive comedy add an unforgettable touch to the ambiance of

YOUR FUN EVENT!

Although it is usually requested for the caricature artists to set up in a stationary location at a special event using a table, booth or easel, there are several options that the Cookseys offer to clients in advance of the contracted engagement date. It is possible to have an Easel-Cart with wheels moved from spot to spot as the artists present the opportunity for a complimentary caricature, courtesy of the host, complete with entertainment ie audience interactive participation with comedic chit chat. If requested, Bill may also entertain with short, made-on-the-spot, personalized songs, complete with guitar while the pictures are created. The caricatures are designed to create laughter and are held up for all to enjoy, whether they depict one person or several, on one large paper. Whether the artists are mobile or stationary, afterwards, the prized masterpiece is presented to the "stars", of course. Bill and Janae engage the models in conversation, laughter, and mad-cap comedy which reveals something of the subjects' personalities. That revelation knowledge is tastefully included as a gag caption in the caricature rendering. The pictures, when done quickly, are usually given in black and white, created with marker, and sketched rapidly for entertainment value. Color, which takes a little longer, is done upon request of the sponsor. The paper sizes vary according to availability and sponsor request from 8.5x11 to 12x18 to 18x24. The major objective is to provide entertainment for the guests by enhancing ambiance with the combination of art, comedy, and music.

TRADE SHOWS The artist is set up at a table with one to three easels displaying samples. Two microphones are usually provided which makes it easier to amplify interactive chit chat causing others who pass by to become interested enough to stop and become part of the group which gathers to watch the artist at work. The same techniques that have been explained above for FUN EVENT parties are actively engaged in the same festive mood except for the following: At a trade show normally the caricature set up location does not move from its central spot in order for the client to receive the most possible response from potential customers attending the trade show. Although the caricature entertainment produces a ton of fun for all, the Cookseys never forget the real reason the client has engaged their services is to boost business and sales. And that makes everyone happy!
