As Founder-Director of The International School of Foundational Phonics, Janae Cooksey has had over 30,000 supervisors and students enrolled in free online phonics reading classes and on the Internet.

Janae Cooksey authored the three volume phonics curriculum in 1993, along with her husband who wrote the lyrics to hundreds of songs, which has been the core of Free Online Phonics and has been used by a college in the Mid-West for over two years as part of a required course for teacher certification preparation. A second secular college in New York asked to use the course in 2001.

Janae Cooksey has taught all levels in contract teaching, substitute teaching, private and group tutoring, ESL seminars and phonics/reading classes.
